After working as an RMT and attending classes at the university he and his family moved to Seattle so he could attend the prestigious, Bastyr University. He proudly received his doctorate in naturopathic medicine after four years with top honours.

Upon completion of the rigorous licensing exams that the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC requires, Dr. Yim established his clinic and practice back home in Nanaimo, B.C.

Want to know more about how Colonics could improve your digestive health? Want to know how to make Colon Hydrotherapy a part of your wellness program? Want to start feeling more energy, less bloated and think clearer?

How Chantal can Help You!

Working on a detoxification program? Finding yourself feeling bloated, constipated, low energy or sluggish?

Colon hydrotherapy is the gentle rinsing of the colon with warm water, to remove encrusted fecal matter, gas and mucus. This allows vital nutrients to be absorbed more easily and leaves you feeling rejuvenated and healthier. One of the main goals of colon hydrotherapy is to assist in cultivating a balanced bacterial environment in the gut.  Having well balanced flora and fauna in our gut is essential to a strong immune system and overall health. Colonics can also help re-tone & reshape the colon.

Colon hydrotherapy involves the safe, gentle infusion of water into the colon via the rectum. No chemicals or drugs are involved and the entire therapy is both relaxing and effective. A healthy well-functioning bowel is essential for the maintenance of optimal health and immunity. This vital organ remains the most neglected in the human body. When the blood stream is overloaded with toxic waste, the body will function at a lower level.

If you are new to colonics (or a returning patient that has not had treatments for a while) it is recommended to complete a series of 3 treatments within a timeframe of 2 to 3 weeks. This is because the colon has 3 sections and ranges from 5-7 feet in length. Each treatment will build on the one prior to thoroughly hydrate and evacuate the colon. Once this initial series of 3 has been completed you and your therapist can discuss your future treatment plans based on your individual needs and results.

Please book in as 3 individual sessions (within the 2-3 week time frame) when you come in for your first session you will have the option to change this to a prepaid package for a greater savings ($65).
